full TIME NANNY, LIVE OUT NANNY IN Dulwich, london - 53 hours per week
A warm and welcoming family based in Dulwich is looking for an experienced, nurturing, and proactive full-time nanny to care for their 11-month-old twins.
This will be the family’s first nanny, as the twins have been cared for by a maternity nurse until now. The babies are in a lovely established routine, and the parents are keen to find someone confident in maintaining this while supporting the children’s development, milestones, and early learning.
Mum will be returning to work, so this will be a sole charge role, and the family is looking for a nanny who can confidently take full responsibility for the children during the day. They would love to find someone who will become a long-term part of the family.
The nanny will be responsible for organising stimulating and educational activities, attending baby classes, arranging outings, and creating a warm, nurturing environment where the twins can continue to thrive. A nanny with Montessori training would be highly valued.
The family employs a housekeeper, so the nanny’s focus will be the children. However, it is important that the nanny is comfortable preparing healthy meals for the babies and tidying up after meals and after playing with the children.
The family would also appreciate someone flexible and happy to travel with them - around 6 weeks per year, as well as help with babysitting from time to time.
Start Date: First week of June
Hours: Approximately 53 hours per week , Monday - Wednesday 8:00 am - 7:00 pm, Thursday and Friday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Responsibilities include:
Sole charge care of the twins
Maintaining the children’s established routine
Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities and educational play
Supporting developmental milestones
Booking and attending baby classes and outings
Outdoor activities
Preparing healthy meals for the children
Nursery duties related to the children
Supporting a nurturing and stimulating home environment
Occasional babysitting
Travelling with the family when required
Salary: Starting from £60K gross per year
This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced nanny who enjoys caring for babies and is looking for a long-term role with a warm and welcoming family.
Requirements:
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH TWINS, Montessori Training Certificate, at least 3 years of experience in childcare, Enhanced DBS check, Paediatric First Aid certificate, right to live and work in the UK, at least 2 excellent references.
